Amador "Ramon" Amparan, 79, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, April 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born on January 10, 1935 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Ramon and Concepcion Amparan. Amador was raised and educated in Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked as a farmer all of his life. He was married to the late Consuelo Pena and moved to Midland in 1992. Ramon was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Concepcion Amparan. He is survived by his son; Manuel Amparan, his five daughters, Hilda Sandoval, Belem (Blanca) Morales, Josie Villarreal, Laura Morin all of Midland, Texas, and Elvira Rodriguez of Baja, California. He also leaves behind his two brothers; Arturo Amparan, of Amarillo, Texas, and Vicente Amparan of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins. A Christian prayer service will be held today April 6, 2014 at 7:00p.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel. Then a Catholic Rosary service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 7:00p.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass is set for Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. For family and friends that wish to take food, it may be delivered to 107 W. Pecan. Funeral service is under the direction of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home and Chapel.
