Ralph Lloyd Smith was born on December 31, 1929 in Holliday, Texas and returned to his Heavenly home on May 30, 2014 in Midland, Texas. Ralph was loved by many and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was an employee with Exxon from the age of 18 until his retirement at the age of 57. During his service at Exxon, he was a hard worker and a valued employee. He treasured his freedom and his country and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Ralph loved taking his beautiful wife, Doris, country dancing and was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys. In his free time, he loved being in the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He delighted in sharing these loves with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His support, love, and wisdom will be missed. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, and his grandson Matthew Huzzey of Midland, Texas.
