Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neil Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Lacy Funeral Home. Peggy was born in Big Spring, Texas, on August 3, 1927, to Ambrose Floyd Moore and Virginia Lee (Johnson) Moore. She married James Milton Carver on November 2, 1946, in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 25, 1992. She then married Lawrence Hancock on March 31, 2007, in Stephenville, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Hancock of Stephenville, Texas; daughter, Connie Williams and husband, George, of Stephenville, Texas; son, James M. Carver Jr. and wife, Carolee, of Midland, Texas; step children, Mike Hancock and wife, Sandy, and John Hancock and wife, Cathy; brother, Bennett Moore and wife, Wanda, of Garden City, Texas; five grandchildren, Mellissa Barlow and husband, Kent, Jeremy James Carver, Christina Wren and husband, Klint, Shannon Jackson and husband, Bobby, and Tiffany Hawkins and husband, Shawn; five great-grandchildren, Lauren, Bailey, Jackson, Elah Grace, and Keller.
