Jessie "Jack" Glaze, 95, of Tarzan, Texas died Friday, June 27, 2014, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Downtown Church of Christ in Stanton. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, June 29, at Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton. "Jack" was born February 25, 1919, to George W. and Mary (Neville) Robertson in Grimes County. She married Joe Lee Glaze March 14, 1936 in Midland. He preceded her in death January 26, 1991. They made their home in Midland and in 1942 moved to Tarzan. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Wolcott Gin and also was the postal clerk for the Tarzan Post Office. She loved to bowl and was on teams in both Midland and Big Spring. Jack was a member of the Tarzan Church of Christ. She is survived by four daughters, Georgia Welch and husband, Eldon of Tarzan, Nancy Yates and husband, Sammy of Tarzan, Linda Nichols of Seminole, and Janice Penn and husband, Mike of Lufkin; 13 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Donald Nichols; three great grandsons, Clayton Henson, Chance Hughes, and Luke Slatter; one great granddaughter, Sierra May; six brothers; and three sisters.
