Family and friends will gather for a time of remembrance and sharing for Connie Mersiovsky, 80 of Lubbock from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014, at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Baron Eliason officiating. Cremation with confidence is under the care of Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Our beloved Connie went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2014. To view Connie's tribute and share a memory visit Connie was born on Nov. 16, 1933, to the late Dick and Lela (Acuff) Pruett in Eastland. She graduated from Andrews High School and attended Texas Tech University. Connie lived in Midland and worked for Estoril Producing Corp where she met Al Mersiovsky. She and Al married on January 2, 1993, and she moved to Lubbock. Connie worked as a secretary for several years at South Plains College, downtown, Lubbock. Connie was very active with LifeGift and the Organ Transplant Support Group at UMC and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Along with her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her only brother, Bobby Gene Pruett. Connie is survived by her husband, Al; her children, Vanessa Hyatt Baker (Dennis) of Midland, Troy Gene Hyatt (Diana Estrada Hyatt) of Bastrop, Melba Parchman (Jackie) of Ranson Canyon, and David Mersiovsky of Lubbock; grandchildren, Clellan Vance Hyatt (Kelley Harris), Leland Hyatt, Heather Michelle Garner (Jake), Vanessa Sabriana Hyatt, and Marshall Parchman (Ashlie); and great grandsons, Jack and Jayton Parchman.
