Dear Kell,
I am truly saddened by your father death. Mr. Coutee was more than just a friend, he was a Father figure to all your friend's; he was an amazing person. He was always so kind and considerate to me; there wasn't a stranger in his eyes; Mr. Coutee always made people feel like he had known you for a long time. His passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Mr. Coutee's memory will always remain deep within my heart.
My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and your beautiful family.

With deepest sympathy,

Anna Ponczoch

"Mr. Cutie" is what I always called him! He had the most wonderful smile and just had it going on! I loved Mr. Coutee because he "knew me by name!" All of the friends of his and Mrs. Shirley's children coming in and out of that house...but YET, he took the time to know me by name! And he never forgot who I was. He had a way of making you feel special. He was a kind and gentle man and very unselfish. I will miss Mr. Coutee...Even as his health began to fade, he had all of his mental wits about him! He engaged you in conversation as if you were the only one in the room! You'd walk in to see him and there goes that smile! I WILL MISS YOU, SIR! I have a feeling that somehow, someway...you and Mrs. Shirley are communicating with one another in the spirit now. You can comfort her and she can have peace that you're no longer suffering. REST WELL, Mr. Albert Coutee...For what better place is there to rest than in the arms of the Father. You're now SAFE, IN HIS ARMS...
Felecia Russell,
Your Daughter's best friend and forever a friend of the family....
