About 1999 Ron and Kathy Huse came into our lives when they moved here from Midland and began attending Woodland West Church of Christ with us.

Through the years we came to know many of their family and have had the priviledge of attending the funeral of Ron's Mother, of Kathy's Mom, meeting Kathy's Dad, and all of their children.

What a wonderful memory to recall the kind and gracious things Ron did for us as a family as well as for his church family. His gracious spirit was wonderful to see in action as he decorated for special events.

On our 60th anniversary, he scheduled a surprise covered dish dinner for all the church to help us celebrate. And for some time now he has been meeting weekly with the residents at an assisted living facility, ministering to people of advanced age.

We are so glad to be able to say a fond farewell to a cherished friend and laborer in God's vineyard. We know that angels have rejoiced at this new arrival in heaven.

Kathy, may God bless you and each of your children, and grandchildren with the memories you all made together. We have all been better because of Ron Huse.

I knew Ron through the floral business but, we became friends over the past several years. He was kind, supportive and always looking out for others. I was blessed to see him a week ago, get a hug and a smile. He set a good example for me and he will be dearly missed.

The Fifth Avenue Greenhouse family has lost a most amazing, loving member, Ron. He was first and foremost a dear friend to everyone. Whatever the situation, Ron was there to make it happen. We all have had our days brightened by his big smile, contagious laugh and hugs. He was a salesman extraordinaire, "Ringmaster" dubbed by Brad, amazingly creative and a floral design wizard. His favorite line was, "never dull" and it wasn't with this incredible man in our lives. Our hearts and prayers go out to Kathy and his beloved family. He spoke of each of your often with so much pride and love. How blessed we all were to have had Ron in our lives.
