Jerry Hardin age 59 of Midland, Texas, died Monday, April 29, 2013 in San Angelo, Texas after a brief illness. Services for Mr. Hardin will be held on Saturday, May 04, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with his pastor, Mr. Bob Porterfield, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Mr. Hardin was born on September 17, 1953 in Snyder, TX to Richard and Peggy (Houston) Hardin. He was a graduate of Snyder High School and the University of Texas at Austin. He retired from Conoco Phillips and was an independent petroleum landman. Jerry was an avid member of the West Kentucky Baptist Church in Midland, Texas. He is survived by: 1 Son - Drake Hardin, Albuquerque, NM 1 Daughter - Jessica Carter, Midland, TX 2 Grandchildren- Jayden Carter and Merle Ann Hardin His parents- Richard and Peggy Hardin of Lubbock Brother - Joey Hardin & wife Cindy, Lubbock, TX He was preceded in death by his grandparents, E.J. & Ina Mae Hardin; Sam & Oma Houston; and an uncle, Bill Houston.
