Ana-Yavilet Almazan of Midland went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 26, 2014. She was born May 1, 2002 in Midland, Texas, to Cesar and Guadalupe Almazan. Yavi, you were only 12 when you were taken from us, too young and too soon. As parents, we were always willing to go first. Like every parent, that is what we expected, but that wasn't God's plan. You were taken to Heaven this weekend following a tragic accident. We know you are in Heaven now with your grandfather, Victor (Palo), and your baby brother who cherished you so. They will keep you safe in their arms until we meet again. We are so thankful for the twelve years we had. You were such an incredible daughter, sister, and granddaughter. You will always be remembered and your memory will be cherished. We know that you were looking forward to returning to Pease Elementary in August, at least as much as any sixth grader looked forward to going back to school. We were so proud of you and the beautiful young woman you were, both inside and out. When we decided to have another baby, you were so excited. And even though you didn't get the boy you wanted, we knew you were so happy with your baby sister once she got here. And, of course, having watched you with Yazlyn, we knew you were going to be an incredible older sister. It is hard to try to fill the hole your loss has left in Yazlyn's young life, she loves and misses you so much. We wish you'd had more time with Victoria. We are so glad she got to spend the first three weeks of her life with you. We will make sure she always knows what a special sister she had. You were such a great example for Yazlyn on what a big sister should be. We were looking forward to watching you play basketball. The pool seems empty without you in it, splashing and playing with your sister and cousins. We remember how you recently decided you loved Justin Bieber, a school girl crush we were sure you would grow out of eventually. We remember how much you loved anything purple. We try to smile when we think about our beautiful angel, with a customized set of purple angel wings, since we know if you get to pick that is the color they will be. We will miss camping, hiking, fishing, and just spending family time together with you. Any time with you was a special time. We will miss hearing you sing in your room, and in the shower, and in the backyard, and in the front yard. Pretty much if you were there, there was beautiful music. It is too quiet now, but you will need no lessons for your angelic voice to sing in the choir where you are. Your beautiful kind eyes and your mischievous smile with those adorable dimples, your kind and giving heart were always brightening our world. We miss you so much baby. Thank you for brightening our lives for twelve years. We don't understand why God chose to take you so soon, but we know you are in Heaven now and we will look forward to seeing you when God calls us home. Until then know that our hearts will always have a special place for you where we will hold you and keep you safe. May the thought of you always bring a sense of peace and the warmth of love to everyone who knew you, because we know that with your amazing heart, that is all you would ask of life. Left here to cherish your memory are mom and dad, Lupe and Cesar Almazan; sisters, Yazlyn and Victoria; grandparents, Ana Elia Villa and Iris Almazan; great grandparents, Maria Antonia and Gilberto Almazan and Consuelo and Maximo Hernandez; uncles, Victor Villa Jr. and wife Brenda, Arnulfo Villa, Eduardo Almazan and wife Crystal; and many cousins and other relatives too numerous to name. With you now in Heaven, Palo - Victor Villa Sr.; baby brother, Cesar Pablo Almazan. Visitation with family and friends will be held at the Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home, located at 2508 N.
