Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2014 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville, Texas. Lyndee was born on December 28, 1955, in Torrance, California, to Charles and Patricia (Allsop) Boyvin. She married Dave Latch on July 4, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked as a dental assistant, working for Dr. Oliver, Dr. Mantano, and Dr. Compton, and Dr. Boren, retiring in 2004 after 28 years. She loved scrapbooking, swimming, fishing, and gardening. She especially loved baseball, traveling all over the country to various baseball stadiums. Little League and the college world series were her favorite levels of baseball. She was a vibrant person who never met a stranger. She had a giving heart, always putting others before herself, inspiring everyone and leaving a good impression with all who met her. She would buy encouraging prayer books to give to other patients and their families in Midland and at M.D. Anderson. She bought different stones, giving them to people who were going through hard times in their lives to remind them that God was their rock and they needed to cling to him. Through her battle with cancer, she was the strong one, the rock, comforting others first. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Dave Latch; her sons, Geoff McLean and his wife Jami, David Latch and his wife Lori, and Keith Latch and his wife Beth; her daughter, Ashley McLean; brother, Greg Boyvin and his wife Magda and their daughter, Stephanie, and son, Paul Boyvin; grandchildren, Keith Latch, Jr. and Mallory Latch of Midland, Texas, and Payton Latch, Taylor Latch, and Adalyn Latch of Burleson, Texas.
