WESTFIELD — Mrs. Deborah Ann McConkey Wilson, 55, of Westfield passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Surry County on Jan. 12, 1958, to the late James Ralph and Lizzie Dervie Jones McConkey. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Catlin Morgan of Sandy Ridge, and Amy and Barry Tilley of Westfield; three sons, Troy Wilson and Chris Wilson, both of Westfield, and Jerry Wilson of Mount Airy; nine grandchildren; and three brothers, Lonnie, James, and Roger McConkey, all of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, David Wayne Wilson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Davis and the Rev. Daniel Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Bank Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
