AUDUBON, Pa. — Peggy E. Keenan, 83, of Audubon, passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. Peggy was born in Mount Airy, N.C., a daughter of the late Joe and Lillian Everhart. She was the wife of the late John Keenan. Peggy graduated from West Chester University in 1979. She was an avid reader and loved traveling, along with spending winters in Key West, Fla., with her snow-bird friends. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Keenan of Sacramento, Calif., John/Caryn Keenan of Audubon, Melissa/Bernie McDevitt of Royersford and Margaret/George Stewart of Pottstown; four grandchildren, Ryan and Michael Keenan, Nicholas and Jessica Stewart; and a sister, Kay Everhart of Mount Airy. A sister, Pansy Everhart, preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Road, Upper Providence Twp., with the Rev. Daniel K. Olsen, Rector, officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St. Trappe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 404, Oaks, PA 19456-0404.
