I have the fondest memories of Miriam. She befriended me and welcomed me to the Canberra Synagogue, when I relocated to the ACT for work. Later on when I had met my wife at a function at the Canberra Synagogue, I asked Miriam to be my stand-in Mother at my wedding at the Great Synagogue in Sydney as my own Mother could not leave England due to bad health. She was a kind and gentle lady, and will be sadly missed.
