CARROLLTON, Ky.-Leo F. Bott, 75, of Carrollton, died Friday, May 2, 2014, at his home with his loving family by his side.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton with Dawn Welch giving the eulogy. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. Arrangements were entrusted to the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton.
Mr. Bott was born on Aug. 8, 1938, in North Vernon, Jennings County, Ind., the son of the late Ludger and Clare Sell Bott. He was retired from Reliance Electric in Madison, Ind., after 36 years of service. He was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Welch Bott of Carrollton; four sons, Mark Bott and Mike Bott, both of North Vernon, Ronnie (Dianna) Bott of Vernon, and Michael Hudson of Florence, Ky.; three daughters, Tracey Bott of North Vernon, Tammy (Shannon) Heilman of Carrollton, and Tina (Tim) Miller of Carrollton; three brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Bott of Dupont, Ind., Joseph (Mary) Bott of North Vernon, Ind., and John (Rita) Bott of Scipio, Ind.; fourteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Bott.
Pallbearers were Mark, Mike & Ronnie Bott, Michael Hudson, John Perkins, Jr., Chuckie West, Steve West and Tyler Leo Welch. Honorary Pallbearers were Cody Kreutzjans and Jessie Jaynes.
