HUNTINGTON, W.Va.-Patrick Jordan "Beau" Clark, 26, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Reger Funeral Home,1242 Adams Ave. in Huntington, W. Va., is assisting the family.
Patrick never met a stranger and always was willing to help anyone less fortunate with a kind gesture or word of encouragement. He was a special loving friend to all who knew him. He was born Nov. 22, 1986 in Huntington, the son of Janice Keatley Clark of Huntington and Tim Clark of Carrollton, Ky.
Patrick was a 2005 graduate of Huntington High School, a graduate of Jefferson Community College and a senior at Marshall University in the biotech science department.
Patrick was an avid fan of baseball, football and soccer. He was a charter member of the Rowdies' Soccer Club (Thrashers). He was a Boy Scout and loved hunting.
Survivors include his parents; his stepmother, Rita Clark of Carrollton; his sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Shane Tabit of Indianapolis, Ind.; a stepbrother, James Wheeler of Louisville, Ky.; niece and nephew, Claire Elizabeth and Cade Patrick; a stepniece, Justine Greene of Kentucky; a grandmother, Christeen Jones of Carrollton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles Keatley, Rachel Keatley Metheny and Fred Metheny; paternal grandparents, Gene and Dorothy R. Clark; a brother, Joshua Keatley Clark; a stepsister; Julie Lee Greene; and an aunt, Betty Beloat.
