WORTHVILLE, Ky.-Orve Suter Perry, 79, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at the Veteran's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Funeral services will be held, 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, 215 Fifth Street in Carrollton. Burial will be in the Worthville Cemetery.
Mr. Perry was the husband of the late Betty Sue Walls Perry. He was a Vietnam and Desert Storm Veteran. He also served during the Korean War. He served in the Navy, Air Force, Army and National Guard. He received a Bronze Star in Vietnam. He was in the American Legion, VFW, Zach Taylor Legion in Louisville and he was a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his two sons, Robert Glen Perry of Gettysburg, Penn. and Everett DeWayne Perry of Worthville; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
His parents, Andrew and Pearl Mae Perry; his wife; his son, Larry Wilson Perry; and his four brothers, J.C., Andrew Price, Jim and Wilbur Perry, preceded him in death.
