GHENT, Ky. – Billy Willhoite, 78, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the First Apostolic Church, 111 Third St., Carrollton, with the Rev. David Croucher officiating. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., Carrollton was entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Willhoite was born on May 14, 1934, in Ghent to the late Virgil Lee and Mable Cynthia Wheeler Willhoite. He was a retired truck driver for A&W Distributing Co. of Carrollton, and retired from farming. Mr. Willhoite was a member of First Apostolic Church in Carrollton.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Ann "Sandy" Mercer Willhoite; two sons, Mark A. Willhoite of Walton, Ky., and Jeffery Willhoite of Dublin, Va.; two sisters, Hallie Kiebler of Sellersburg, Ind., and Evelyn Foster of Jeffersonville, Ind.; a brother, James Donald "Sandy" Willhoite of Carrollton; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
His parents and a sister, Lura Lee Willhoite, preceded him in death.
