CARROLLTON, Ky.-Eric Scott Gentry, 21, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, in Carrollton.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton with the Rev. Pat Butcher, the Rev. Tony McKinnon and the Rev. Don Adkins officiating. Burial was in the Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery in Wheatley, Ky.Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton was entrusted with the arrangements.
He was born on Dece. 14, 1992, in Madison, Jefferson County, Ind., the son of Mark Gentry and Sheila Grandy Gentry. He was a machine operator for Kemper Construction Company in Carrollton. He was a band member of ""A Feast For Kings,"" where he was their lead vocalist.
Survivors include his parents of Worthville, Ky.; two brothers, Ryan T. (Erica) Gentry of Alamogordo, N.M. and Christopher P. Gentry of Lexington, Ky.; three sisters, Ashley G. Gentry, Allison H. Gentry, and Angela J. Gentry all of Worthville; paternal grandparents, Evella Gentry of Christiansburg, Va., and Tom Gentry of Winter Haven, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Ash and Helen Grandy of Tucson, Ariz.; and a nephew, Levi Gentry of Alamogordo, N.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Eric Scott Gentry Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of the funeral home.
