HAMILTON, Ohio - Jack C. Maddox, 86 of Hamilton died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Ft. Hamilton Hughes Hospital.

Funeral services will begin at noon, Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, Ohio. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home with Dr. Dennis Metzger and the Rev. William C. Brantingham officiating. Burial will be Thursday at noon at the IOOF Cemetery, 912 Seminary St. in Carrollton, Ky.
Mr. Maddox was born to William T. and Iva D. (nee Davis) in Owen County Ky. on Aug. 31, 1926. He is the beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Miller); dear brother of Marcia Ross of Louisville, Ky; much loved uncle of Terrell (Nancy) Ross of Charlestown, Ind.
Mr. Maddox served in the Army during WWII and was given the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, Victory Medal, and Army of Occupation Medal. After his service to his country he worked for American Aggregate until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton.
