LOUISVILLE, Ky.-Lois Jean Hill Mudd, 86, of Louisville died Friday, March 7, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 11, at the St. John Catholic Church, 503 Fifth Street in Carrollton, Ky. Interment followed in the St. John's Cemetery. Pearson's Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane, in Louisville, Ky. was entrusted with the arrangements.
She was a retired registered nurse having worked for Dr. L.E. Oliver and Carroll County Memorial Hospital, a native of Carrollton, Ky., and a graduate of St. Anthony's School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Martha's Catholic Church. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, James C. ""Jim"" Mudd; daughter, Jo Ann Mudd Blackburn of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; sister, Mary Jo Mylar; and two granddaughters, Breanne and Julie Blackburn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Louise Smith Hill, two brothers, John Roeder and Marvin ""Doc"" Hill.
Memorials may be made to Hosparus or St. Martha's Catholic Church.
