SPRINGFIELD, Ohio-Pamela Jane Ragon Griffie, 65, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio.

Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Friday, March 1, followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. at the Greater Life Apostolic Church, 200 Snyder St. in Springfield, with the Rev. Paul Dowdy officiating.
Interment will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, in the Griffie Family Cemetery at Sizerock, Ky. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Heimkreiter, Greg Noble, Robbie Davis, Joe Hall, Tim Gibson, Lyndon Thomas, Shane Hancock and Gregory Noble. Jackson Lytle and Lewis Funeral Home, 2425 N. Limestone St., Springfield, were entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Griffie was born Sept. 14, 1947, in Van Wert, Ohio, the daughter of the late Rev. LeRoy W. Ragon and Nora W. Nall Ragon. She was a resident of Carroll County, Ky., for more than 27 years before moving to Springfield in 2011. She was a dedicated wife and mother and a member of the Pentecostals of Carrollton. Examples of her artistic ability have been displayed throughout the county over the years, while her true delight was found in her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Janel (Eric) Eisinger of Springfield and Jamie (Jonathan) Heimkreiter of Loveland, Ohio; two grandchildren, Andrea Eisinger of Springfield and Stephen Heimkreiter of Loveland; two sisters, Janice (Larry) Thomas of Akron, Ohio, and Cynthia Gibson of Gonzales, La.; a brother, the Rev. John (Barb) Ragon of Newark, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Her parents, LeRoy and Nora Ragon, and her devoted husband, James Griffie, preceded her in death.
