CARROLLTON, Ky.-Thurston Bruce Goodman, 63, of Carrollton, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., in Carrollton. Visitation will be from noon until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Goodman was born on Jan. 18, 1950, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky., the son of Thurston J. Goodman and Edna J. Soeder Goodman of Williamsburg, Va. He was a retired truck driver for the Kroger Grocery Company. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. In his spare time he enjoyed selling his farm produce and visiting with customers at the Riverview Farmers Market in Carrollton. He was involved with the Harrods Creek Field and Stream Club in Prospect, Ky., the National Rifle Association, and the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Competition in Friendship, Ind. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 41 in Carrollton. He was of the Lutheran Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Henson Goodman; his parents; two sons, Michael Graine of Louisville, Ky., and Cameron Logsdon of Bismark, N.D.; four daughters, Alison Anderson of Springfield, Ill., Lyndee Milczarek of St. Louis, Mo, Heather Schumcher of Peoria, Ill, and Meredith Helm of Louisville; a sister, Janice Roycroft of Boca Raton, Fla., a brother, Alan Goodman of Worchester, Va.; and eleven grandchildren.
