CARROLLTON, Ky.-Willetta Searcy, 99, of Carrollton died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton.

Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 26, at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton, with the Rev. Ronald Barnes officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Mrs. Searcy was born January 4, 1914, in Owen County, Ky. to the late Robert C. and Nina Glass Bond. She was the youngest of four children. She had attended and graduated from the former Worthville High School in Worthville, Ky.. She joined the Worthville Christian Church early in her life; she was later a member of the Whites Run Christian Church. She spent most of her life on the family farm on Boone Road in Carroll County. She will be remembered for her love of animals and dedication to her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Agnes Ann Andrews, and son-in-law Warren of Richardson, Texas; and her son, Richard Bond Searcy, and wife Barbara of Booneville, Ky.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard W. Searcy; two sisters, Thelma Dean and Katherine Grasch; a brother, Herschel Bond; and a grandson, Paul Searcy.
