WAKARUSA, Ind.-Juanita Knox Parker, 91, formerly of Louisville, Ky., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa, Ind.

Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 15, at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw, Ky., with the Rev. Dr. David A. Schrader officiating. Burial was in the Warsaw Cemetery in Warsaw.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Billie Knox; six nieces; two nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and five great-great-nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parker was born May 27, 1921, in Sanders, Ky., to the late William and Maude Brown Knox. She married the late Charles Burt Parker on March 8, 1945, in Lancaster, Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. Parker enjoyed traveling in their Airstream trailer and spent many years living in different parts of the United States. They were very active in their church.
Mrs. Parker loved music and played the organ. She was a talented floral designer and seamstress. She was a generous and kind soul and was loved by her family and friends.
Her parents; husband; a sister, Geraldine Knox; three brothers, Vernon Wentworth Knox, George William Knox and Malcolm Montgomery Knox, preceded her in death.
