Mary R Hanson (nee Bach), 84, of Townbank passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at her home. Born in Edison, NJ and formerly of that city, she has been a Cape May area resident since 1988.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Hanson in 2010.
She is survived by her sons: Ernest (Georgia) Hanson of Toms River & Wayne (Joan) Hanson of Edison; her daughters: Marianne Grogg of N Cape May, Joann McCloskey of Townbank, and Brenda (Joseph) Baggett of Millville. Also surviving are her sister Patricia DeCandia, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
There will be a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ 08204. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, N Cape May, NJ 08204. Aunt Rita was the strongest, kindest person in the world. She loved her family and that love was returned to her.
