Bonna "Bonnie" Lee Collins

Bonna "Bonnie" Lee Collins, (nee: Schaefer) of East Brunswick, NJ passed away on January 13, 2014 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She was 97 years old. Born in Miamisburg, OH, she lived in Rahway for 35 years, then moved to East Brunswick in 1951. Bonnie was a former dancer with the Rockettes in New York City, and had also performed in several Broadway shows. She worked as a supervisor for the Boy Scouts of America in North Brunswick for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Paul's Church in Milltown and was a member of the Sarah's Circle. Bonnie was a member of the WIBC & 600 Club of Central Jersey and New Jersey State.
Predeceased by her husband, the late Harry "Hootie" Collins, she is survived by friends, Christine Ricardo of North Brunswick; Mary Ellen Clark of Milltown; Lori Casazza of Hamilton, NJ; Kathy & Frank Murano of St. Louis, MO; Mary Adamski of Bonhamtown, NJ and her physician and friend, Dr. Sebastian Palmeri.
Friends may call Saturday 9am-11am at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ. Funeral service, 11am at the funeral home. Interment at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, NJ. Memorial contributions to the Milltown Rescue Squad PO Box 308 Milltown, NJ 08850 would be appreciated.

Rest in Peace sweet Bonnie! You were always so much fun to be with. So enjoyed our Saturday bowling nights and our chats. Such a wonderful woman!
