Brower, Priscilla Ireland - 93, Monmouth Beach  
Priscilla Ireland Brower AGE: 93 • Monmouth Beach Priscilla Ireland Brower, age 93 of Monmouth Beach, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at home. Born in East Orange, she was a life resident of Monmouth Beach. Mrs. Brower was a 1939 graduate of St. Mary's Academy, in Burlington and a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's in Education. She was a retired school teacher for Monmouth Beach Elementary School as well substituting and tutoring within Monmouth Beach for many years. Mrs. Brower was a member of the Monmouth Beach School Board, the Monmouth Beach Historical Committee, the American Association of University Women, the Long Branch Women's Club, a 20 year member of the Board of Elections, and a founding member of the Shade Tree Commission. In 2009 the Borough dedicated the Shorelands Park in her honor renaming it The Priscilla Ireland Brower Park at Shorelands. She was a life-time member of St. George-by-the-River Episcopal Church in Rumson where she served as Sunday School Teacher and volunteered for the Canterbury Fair for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Colonel Edwin L. Brower, Sr. in 2012; her son Larry Brower and her infant daughter, Grace Madeline Brower. She is survived by her son James Brower and his fiancée Dr. Lynn Kowalski; a granddaughter, Hope Brower; two step-grandchildren, Jason Storbeck and his fiancée Jennifer Rauber, and Jessica and Ryan Conrad; and a step-great-grandchild, Liam A. Conrad. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. The Funeral Mass will on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. George-by-the-River Episcopal Church, 7 Lincoln Ave., Rumson. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Adeline F. Calabrese AGE: 87 • Silver Ridge Park West, Berkeley Twp. Adeline F. Calabrese (nee Vincelli), 87, of Silver Ridge Park West section of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Sunday , March 29, 2015. Born in Long Branch, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Long Branch before moving to Berkeley Twp. 18 years ago. Adeline was a secretary in New York City for several years. After raising her children, she worked as a Seamstress at Century Sportswear in Long Branch. She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp and was a former member of Holy Trinity RC Church, Long Branch. Adeline is survived by her husband of 67 years, Paul V. Calabrese, 4 children and their spouses, Ralph & Barbara Calabrese of West Long Branch, NJ, Mary Jo & Jeffrey Williams of Centennial, CO, Paula & Brian Granit of Ocean, NJ and Anthony & Lisa Calabrese of Jackson, NJ, a sister Theresa Schiavone of Toms River, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. Cordova, Mary - 90, Brick  
Mary Cordova AGE: 90 • Brick Mary Cordova, 90 years old of Brick, NJ passed away on March 28, 2015 at her residence. Born in Brooklyn, and lived in the Bronx, working for the Public School System. Then she moved with her family to Brick in 1965 and worked for the Brick Board of Education in the cafeteria for 25 years. After retirement she traveled with her husband for years and remained matriarch of the family. Mary was a friend to everyone and loved by all who met her. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years John F. Cordova and her granddaughter Denise Williscroft Kemal. Mary is survived by her children, John & Maryann Cordova, Laura & Edward Williscroft and Diane & Pete Serrano. Grandchildren, Edward, Ryan, John, Michael, Tessie and Peter. Great Grandchildren, Loreal, Dominic, Matthew, Michael, Ryan, Sean, Justin, Tyler, Olivia and Madeline. Great Great Grandchildren, Grace and Colton. Brother and Sister-in-law Louis & Mary Ellen Occhicone. Viewing hours will be on Tuesday March 31, 2015 from 4-8pm at Laurelton Memorial Funeral Home 109 Pier Ave., Brick, NJ 08723. Czucza Jr., Stephen W. - 44, Manalapan  
Stephen W. Czucza Jr. AGE: 44 • Manalapan Stephen W. Czucza Jr., 44, of Manalapan, passed away on March 25, 2015 at home after a long battle with leukemia. Born in Bayonne, he lived there until moving to Manalapan two years ago. Stephen was employed by the Bayonne Board of Education as a custodian. He was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Dorothy nee Baker Czucza and his grandparents, J.P. and Sophie nee Jablonski Baker. He is survived by his sister, Jody Ann Czucza of Bayonne, his two aunts and three uncles, Connie and Robert Pytlik, Maryann and Robert Cyrgalis, and Joseph Baker; two godsons, Willie and Jonathon Pompeo; cousins, Bill and John Pompeo, Jessica (Joe) Mazza, Chelsea Curtis Pompeo (fiancé, Jose Hernandez) and their sons, Chase and Jake. Pursuant to Stephen's wishes, a private funeral service was held and followed by cremation under the direction of the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Leopoldina Silvero De Cabral, DDS AGE: 81 • Peapack, formerly of Bound Brook Leopoldina Silvero De Cabral, DDS, 81, died March 28, 2015. Born in Paraguay on February 4, 1934 to Marcelina Escobar and Feliciano Silvero. Leopoldina had her own Dental Practice in Paraguay for over 21 years and retired at the age of 60. She was an author who loved literature and wrote her own "memore" and two short story books. Leopoldina enjoyed reading, music, philosophy, the arts, and above all "loved" her husband, Basilio Guido. Leopoldina is survived by her beloved husband, Basilio Guido Cabral of 59 years; nine loving children, Dr. Guido Enrique, Antonio Hermgenes, Dr. Roque Eugenio, Dr. Genero Efrain, Winston Daniel, Dr. Jazmin Carolina, Maria Leopoldina, Pierina Magdalena, Maria Del Carmen; her dear sister, Catalina "Tona"; twenty-two wonderful grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Augusto Ceasar "Payito". Viewing, Wednesday, April 1, 2015, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Somerville Funeral Home, 10 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876, (908-725-2079). Cleopatra N. DiFalco AGE: 82 • Brick Cleopatra N. DiFalco, age 82, of Brick, NJ passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Cleopatra was a military wife, so she traveled and lived in many different countries and states before settling in Brick, NJ in 1969. She enjoyed going to Atlantic City, cooking, baking and never missed Jeopardy. She is predeceased by her husband, Ronald J. DiFalco Sr., her son, Ronald J. DiFalco Jr., and her great-granddaughter, Briana Diestelow. Cleopatra is survived by her five daughters, Rhonda Aten and her husband Wayne of Brick, Donna Silva of Brick, Ramona Santoro and her husband Pat of Bethlehem, PA, Nicoletta Booth of Lewisburg, TN, and Maria Dore of Woodstock, GA; she is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. All services for Cleopatra were private and under the direction of Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723. Doolan, Michael Joseph - 87, Spring Lake  
Michael Joseph Doolan AGE: 87 • Spring Lake Michael Joseph Doolan, 87, of Spring Lake, NJ died Saturday, March 28, 2015 surrounded by his family at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Jersey City, Michael grew up in Bayonne, NJ before moving to Spring Lake in 1954. He was a parishioner of St. Henry Church in Bayonne and St. Catharine Church in Spring Lake. He attended Manhattan and Sienna Colleges and played on the basketball team. Michael is a veteran and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Michael began his career in the hospitality business, owning and operating The Depot in Bayonne, before buying Boyles Village Barn in Spring Lake Heights. He operated the Village Barn in the 50s and 60s as one of the Jersey Shore's most popular night club and pool bars, before transforming the business in the 70s to Mike Doolan's (Doolan's Shore Club) as a leading restaurant, banquet and wedding facility. He was a member of the Spring Lake Golf Club, Wall Kiwanis Club, and the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Jersey Shore. Michael loved basketball and enjoyed spending time in Puerto Rico. He was very proud of his American and Irish heritage. Mike was a man of great love, laughter and had a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome. No one ever came into his presence without feeling his passion and enthusiasm for life. He centered everything on his faith, family and love of his restaurant business. Michael was predeceased by his parents, John and Anne McLoone Doolan; sister, Marie Doolan Zukowski. Surviving is his beloved wife of 58 years; Joan Kush Doolan, his daughters; Ann Carter and her husband James of Las Vegas, NV, Susan Doolan and Joanie Doolan both of Spring Lake, a sister Anne Wall of Bayonne, NJ and many nieces, nephews and dear friends and his dedicated staff. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd.,Wall. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:30AM at St. Catharine's Church, 215 Essex Ave., Spring Lake. Committal will be private. Phyllis Garber AGE: 79 • manalapan Phyllis Garber, 79, of Manalapan, NJ passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Morris Garber, Loving Mother of Joshua Garber and Miriam Finkelstein and her husband, Greg, Cherished Grandmother of Sara and Matthew Finkelstein. Phyllis was born in Newark, NJ. She graduated from Douglass College of Rutgers University, in 1957 with a BA in History and Political Science. She also did her Post Graduate Work there. She was a Social Studies Teacher in Freehold Township, NJ for 25 years, in the Jr. High Schools and the Gifted and Talented Program. Funeral Arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave. Manalapan, NJ 07726. Funeral services will be held, Monday, March 30, 2015 at 1pm at the Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Congregation Sons of Israel Cemetery, Englishtown, NJ. The family will be observing shiva at their residence, 4 Lowell Rd. Manalapan, NJ 07726. They will be sitting Monday after the burial and Tuesday Evening after 5pm. Memorial Contributions can be made in Phyllis's memory to the American Diabetes Foundation or to Douglass College.

Lucille Mary Guida AGE: 86 • Middletown Lucille Mary Guida, 86, of Middletown died on March 28, 2015 in Port Saint Lucie, FL. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Middletown since 1966. Lucille worked as the office manager for special services for the Middletown Township Board of Education. She was an active member of Shady Oaks and a volunteer at the Middletown Public Library. Lucille was a loving mother and grandmother, her family was her life. Surviving are her, son & daughter-in-law, Paul and Bonnie Guida; daughter & son-in-law, Susan Guida Salisbury and John Cartwright; son & daughter-in-law Frank and Jennifer Guida and 8 grandchildren.
