Robert Elmore Baumeister AGE: 88 • Lady Lake, FL Robert Elmore Baumeister, 88, of Lady Lake, Florida, passed away surrounded by family on May 25, 2016. Bob served in the US Navy during WWII and was very proud of the fact that all 3 children served in the military. He met and married the love of his life after he left the military. They raised their children in Freehold NJ for 20+ years. He was very involved in his children's activities and became treasurer of Pop Warner. He retired from PSE&G after 40 years of dedicated service and moved to the Villages with his wife. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, pool, and taking part in vast activities. He also liked to travel and spend time with his family. He most enjoyed when his grandchildren and great grandchildren were around. He was known to be a kind gentle man and well loved. Bob is predeceased by his wife Mary and sister Dorothy. He is survived by his 2 sons Bob (Beth) and Mark (Antionette) and his daughter Nancy (Bill), grandchildren Ryan, Danielle, Tiffany, & Will, great grandchildren Jaquelynn, Johnathon, & Jasmine, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. A special thank you to The Villagers for Hospice and Elan assisted living facility for their loving care and support. Services will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 10:30AM. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 12:30PM. Memorial donations may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages FL 32162. Hilda Lorraine Berry AGE: 86 • New Brunswick, NJ Hilda Lorraine Berry, 86 of New Brunswick, NJ passed away May 20, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Hilda was born in Trenton, NJ to the late William Henry Hall and Elsie Baker Hall. She was predeceased by husband, Samuel George Scott Berry; 4 daughters: Judith, Jacqueline, Christine and Mary Moody; five brothers: Percy, Howard, James, Raymond and Joseph Hall. Hilda leaves to cherish her fond memories ten children: James, Marshall, Michael and Joseph Moody, William Moody Chapman, JoAnn, Sandra, Kevin, Robert and Scott Berry; One brother, John Hall, Jr. grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Before retirement, Hilda was employee as a "B" Cook at Rutgers University for many years. She was formerly a member of the Mt. Zion AME Church, New Brunswick. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 771 Somerset St, Somerset, NJ. Viewing 10 - 11am at the church, Burial will be held immediately after the service at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick.

Blomquist, Bernard C. - 44, Bayville  
Bernard C. Blomquist AGE: 44 • Bayville Bernard C. Blomquist, 44, of Bayville, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, May 26, 2016. Born in Staten Island, he moved with his family to Ocean Gate in 1974. He has been a resident of Bayville for 19 years. Bernie was self-employed running the family business, Blomquist Electric, founded in 1989. He was a 1989 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Toms River and a graduate of Montclair University, class of 95', with an Industrial Design degree. Bernie loved the sea and was an avid boater and fisherman participating and winning many deep sea fishing tournaments. Bernie is predeceased by his father Bernard J. in 2014. Surviving are; his mother Beatrice Blomquist; 3 sisters, Kathleen Blomquist, Susan Beyer and Bernadette Blomquist; his nieces and nephews; Steven Beyer, Alisha Beyer, Jaime Lynne Charles and Tyler Charles. Also surviving are his aunts, uncles, cousins and his two best friend Chris Pulos and George Cannon. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 1st, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Funeral Thursday, 10am at the funeral home, before celebrating a 11am Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church, Bayville. Burial will follow to St. Josephs Cemetery. Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernie's memory to; St. Jude Children's Hospital ( stjude.org ) or, the Ocean Gate First Aid Squad ( oceangateems.org ), would be appreciated.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 94 Pine St., Montclair, with an interment at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Upper Montclair. Visiting will be on Sunday (today) from 4-7pm, Monday from 4-7pm and Tuesday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair caggianomemorial.com Michael was born and raised in Montclair, and was the manager and owner of Caggiano Memorial Home for Funerals, in Montclair for 47 years. He was a Member of the Saint Sebastian Society of Montclair, The Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Montclair, Cooley's Anemia Foundation, The Kiwanis Club of Montclair, The Lions Club of Montclair, The 100 Club of Montclair, Sons of Italy, The Columbian Foundation, The United Way of Montclair, The Will-Glen Social Club, The Glen Ridge Country Club, The Montclair Beach Club, The Naples Lakes Country Club, a Founding Member of the Patsy J. Caggiano Scholarship Fund, Founding Member of The Cystinosis Foundation, a supporter of The St. Vito's Society of Montclair, and a Founding Member of Verona UNICO. He also served in the U.S. Army reserves. Michael is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Jo (nee Toglia), his children, P.J. Caggiano and his wife Michele, Michael, Jr. and his wife Jeannie, his siblings Patricia J. Meyers and her husband Bob, Margaret Mary Ruccio and her husband Stephen, Patsy J. Caggiano, Jr. and his wife Carolyn, his grandchildren, Christopher, Michael III, Maria Rose, and Sophia, his brother-in-law Bobby Toglia and his wife Sandy of Saugus, MA and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Patsy J. and Margaret P. (nee Intile) Caggiano, and his brother-in-law Michael Toglia. Cerefice, John W. - 72, Rockledge, Fl/long Beach Island  
John W. Cerefice AGE: 72 • Rockledge, FL/Long Beach Island Former longtime LBI resident, John W. Cerefice, passed away at Wuesthoff Medical Center, Rockledge, FL, May 9 2016 with his children by his side. John was born April 6 1944 in Newark NJ to Louis Cerefice and Ruth (Bushfield) Cerefice. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Gina Sicola and nephew Craig Sicola. He is survived by his son Jason, daughter Adrienne, son-in-law Dan Hoch, granddaughter Vivienne, and his brother Robert Cerefice and wife Marie-Claude Cerefice of Neptune, NJ, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Completing high school in Newark NJ, John went on to receive a BA from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ and a JD from Suffolk University School of Law, Boston, Mass. After passing the New Jersey bar exam, he joined his father's law practice in Newark, NJ. One year later, having spent many childhood summers on LBI, he decided to open a practice in Surf City, not far from his family's summer home. In time, he became the municipal judge in several towns on the island as well as solicitor for the Borough of Harvey Cedars. He was an active member and one-time president of the Ocean County Bar Association. He was appointed chairman of the Supreme Court of NJ District III A Ethics Committee, representing Ocean County. He was also president of the Rotary Club of LBI and served on their Board of Directors. The Rotarians also honored him as a Paul Harris fellow. John enjoyed each and every one of these endeavors and he administered all of his duties with fairness and humor. After 35 years of practice, John retired to Rockledge, Florida in an attempt to better his golf game and ride his Harley, year round. John made many friends and will be remembered for his sense of humor and wit, easy laugh and incredible zest for life. Family and friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life held on Saturday June 4 2016, from 1 pm - 4pm at the High Point Volunteer Fire Co. Hall, 10 W. 80th St. Harvey Cedars NJ 08008. Elizabeth (Bette) Clarke AGE: 87 • North Plainfield and Manasquan Bette died May 25th she was born in Plainfield January 18, 1929. She was employed by Mack Trucks in Bridgewater. She has willed her body to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for Research. She leaves behind two sisters Phyllis Tebbs and Wilma Carter and one brother Thomas Clarke of Jacksonville, Oregon; two nephews Guy Carter, NY, Steven Clarke, San Jose, CA and one niece Candace Powell, Plainfield and many great nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Eva Connelly Plainfield Transitioned this life May 23, 2016 in Plainfield, NJ. Born in Brook County, North Carolina she had been a resident of Plainfield for over 70 yrs. Miss Connelley was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield and was employed at Revlon, retiring in 1989. Surviving are her sisters Ophelia Harshow, Omela Armstrong, Helen Fullwood, Mary Hunt, Hester Cook and a host of loving relatives and friends. Louis Anthony Cosenza AGE: 93 • Ortley Beach, formerly of Paterson Cosenza, Louis Anthony, 93, of Ortley Beach, formerly of Paterson, passed away on May 24, 2016. He also enjoyed his winter home in Malabar, Florida. Mr. Cosenza was born in Newark. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 8th Defense & AAA Artillery Battalion during WWII, in the Pacific and fought in Okinawa and Tarawa. Louis was the recipient of a Silver Star for heroic duties in Okinawa and the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He recently participated in the Space Coast Honor Flight with 25 other WWII veterans. He was a member of the American Legion, the Paterson Riverside Vets and All Wags A.C. For over 30 years, he was a printer for Premier Printers in Kearny, retiring at the age of 70. Lou had a zest for life and enjoyed being with people. Everyone will miss his story telling, sense of humor, quirky jokes and beautiful smile; as his philosophy on life was, "It doesn't cost anything to smile." He enjoyed traveling and cruising with his daughter, Cathy, to Las Vegas, Alaska and many other destinations. He was a loving husband, wonderful father and loyal friend. Beloved husband of the late Catherine B. (nee Funicelli) Cosenza. Loving father of Cathy Cosenza and the late Louanne Cosenza and Peter James Cosenza. Dear brother of Patsy Cosenza and the late Josephine Picataggio, Sara Zitka, John, James, Fred and Pasquale Cosenza. Caring uncle of many nieces and nephews.
