Maureen McQuillan Kandrach AGE: 67 • Sea Girt Maureen McQuillan Kandrach, 67 of Sea Girt passed on Saturday March 28 at home with her family by her side. Maureen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She was a graduate of St. Anselm's Elementary and Bay Ridge High School both of Brooklyn. Maureen received her BS of Nursing from Wagner College, Staten Island and her masters in Nursing from Hunter College, NYC. Maureen was a nurse at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center, Staten Island where she was the Regional Director for Behavioral Health Nursing and most recently an Adjunct Professor at Ocean County College, Toms River. Maureen and her husband Stephen met in New York and then lived on Staten Island for many years where they raised their family. Maureen was an active member of the Staten Island Ski Club. Finally, Maureen and her husband relocated to the Jersey Shore in 2003 where she enjoyed everything the beach area offered. Always active, you could find her golfing, hiking, going to the gym, gardening and taking walks on the boardwalk. Maureen was a member of the Women of Irish Heritage and got a thrill out of Irish Dancing. She loved spending time with her family, adored her grandchildren and loved hosting family and friends for get-togethers. Maureen enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Steve for the last ten years. She lived life to the fullest, encouraged her family and friends to do the same and had a zest for life that will be missed. Maureen will be deeply missed and forever remembered by a large and extended loving family and network of friends. Maureen was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Eleanor (Van Dyke) McQuillan. She is survived by her husband Stephen Kandrach of Sea Girt; her children, daughter Cristin and her husband Bill of Alexandria, VA and son Michael and his wife Gina of Smithtown, NY; four grandchildren Ryan, Connor, Michael and Giuliana. Maureen is also survived three brothers Joseph (Carol) McQuillan of Vero Beach, FL, Eugene (Joyce) McQuillan of Lincroft, NJ and Thomas McQuillan of Staten Island, NY; a sister Judy McQuillan of Freehold, NJ; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Donna and George Kandrach; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, cousins, loving relatives and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736. A Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later date. Krieger, Frank A. - 98, Brick  
Frank A. Krieger AGE: 98 • Brick Frank A. Krieger, 98, of Brick, NJ died peacefully on Saturday, March, 28, 2015, at Care One at Wall, Wall, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Frank resided in Richboro, Pennsylvania, for many years before moving here about 1 year ago. Frank served with the Army Air Corps as a Staff Sergeant during WW II. He retired as an accountant from Foremost Ice Cream Company, Pennsylvania, after many years of service. An accomplished saxophone player, he had his own dance band for many years. Frank was a talented artist painting many pictures during his lifetime. Mr. Krieger was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, who died in 1991. He is survived by his nephews, Donald and his wife Barbara Andrews and David Andrews, Gleb Zelenoy and Hank Zuk. He is also survived by his Grand Nieces and Nephews, Juliette Beckmann, Beth Zelenoy, Susan Roy, David Zelenoy, and John Zelenoy. Visiting will be on Friday, April 3, 2015, 4-8pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall, NJ. A. Stella Kennett Brick A. Stella Kennett, 1924-2015, peacefully took her place beside her husband, Charles F. Kennett, Sr. on Sunday, March, 29, 2015. Stella and her husband were antique car enthusiasts, stock car racers, motorcycle riders, and loved traveling. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Joyce Newman and her husband James; her loving grandchildren, Daniel Newman and his wife Christine, Kristy Blair and her husband Jason; her new great-granddaughter, Emily Ann; her angel, Jani Davis; and her fur-babies, Sandy, Kasey, and Evo. The family would like to thank Brandywine Assisted Living and Grace Hospice Services for their help these last three years. Services will be private. Krauss, Margaret E. - 100, Fords  
Margaret E. Krauss AGE: 100 • Fords Margaret E. Krauss, 100, of Fords, passed away on March 29, 2015, at Bayshore Community Hospital. She was born May 13, 1914, in Hudson, Michigan. Margaret had resided in Fords for the last 55 years. She graduated from St. Rita's Nursing School in Lima, Ohio. She received her BA from Jersey City State College. She was a Registered Nurse, working as the Nursing Supervisor at Perth Amboy General Hospital. She served in the US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Margaret loved to play cards with her grandchildren and spend time with family. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Krauss, and several sisters and brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Rita Peter and her husband, Hubert, of Locust; three sons, Michael J. Krauss and his wife, Julie, of Bloomfield Hill, MI; James T. Krauss and his wife, Mary Ann, of Spotsylvania, VA; Henry J. Krauss and his wife, Niki, of Charlotte, NC; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday 8-10am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 10am followed by a 10:30am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Madeleine was born in Belmar and lived there her entire life. She was a parishioner of the Church of Saint Rose in Belmar. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Kelly. She is survived by 5 sons and a daughter, John T. Kelly of Belmar, Rocco J. Kelly of Neptune, Maggie Kelly Holby of Belmar, Joseph T. Kelly of Bricktown, Thomas A. Kelly of Neptune and Christopher Kelly of Belmar. Her grandchildren, Angela and Sean Kelly, Michael, Morgan, Samantha and Christine Kelly, Andrew, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Laura and Jason Holby, Jessica, Joseph, and Alysha Kelly and Thomas and Nicholas Kelly. Her great grandson, Chase Delarndo and her great-granddaughters, Mackenzie, Reagan and Sarah Ade. Visitation will be on Tuesday March 31 from 4 to 8pm at the Reilly Bonner Funeral Home, 801 D Street, Belmar NJ. Kenny, Kevin L. - 62, Neptune City  
Kevin L. Kenny AGE: 62 • Neptune City Kevin L. Kenny of Neptune City, passed away peacefully at his home, at the age 62, on Saturday, March 28, 2015. He was born in Summit, NJ and was a life long resident of Neptune, NJ. Kevin graduated from Neptune High School in 1971, where he was a member of the 1969 State Championship Golf Team, and was inducted with his team into the Neptune High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He also attended the University of Miami, Miami Florida. Kevin became a member of the Professional Golfers' Association of America in 1982. For many years, Kevin was either a part of, or led the professional golf staffs at numerous area golf clubs. After retiring, Kevin spent his time enjoying the company of family and friends. Kevin is predeceased by his parents, Martin J. and Margaret A. Kenny, and his brother John A. Kenny. Kevin is survived by his children, Matthew L. and Alissa A. Kenny, and his former wife Louise Kenny. Kevin is also survived by his two brothers, Jim Kenny and his wife Elvia of Brick NJ, and Christopher Kenny and his wife Lori of Lewes DE. Kevin is also survived by his two sisters, Veronica Kenny of Neptune, and Reenie Wardell and her husband Ted Wardell of Neptune City, and many nieces and nephews. Kevin will be sadly missed by many friends, but not forgotten. Visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday March 31 at Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Rt. 33, Neptune, NJ. Katherine F. Kane AGE: 62 • North Brunswick Katherine F. (Glorisi) Kane died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at her home in North Brunswick. She was 62. Born in Brooklyn, New York she had lived in North Brunswick for most of her life. She was an aide for the North Brunswick Township Board of Education for over 24 years, most recently at John Adams Elementary School. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Theresa (Lepore) Glorisi. Surviving are her husband Michael G. Kane; two sons- Matthew Kane of North Brunswick and James Kane and his wife Fallon of British Columbia, Canada; her granddaughter Damiana Kane; and her brother Vincent Glorisi of Monroe Township. Private cremation was under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, March 28, 2015, at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church, Remsen Avenue and Sandford Street, New Brunswick.

Keene, Walter F. - 75, Forked River  
Walter F Keene AGE: 75 • Forked River Walter Francis Keene, age 75, of Forked River died on Thursday March 26th, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Linden, Walter vacationed with his family in Forked River from the 1940's until moving there permanently in 1963. Mr. Keene was a self-employed Master Plumber who went on to work as Facilities Manager with the Claridge Motel and Trump Plaza, later retiring from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Pomona. Walter was a life member with the Forked River Volunteer Fire Department, a charter member of the Lacey Elks and a founding member of Lacey Pop Warner. Mr. Keene was predeceased by his parents Walter and Muriel and his son Paul Michael. Surviving are his wife of 56 years Judy (nee Smalts), three children Lisa Anne Licknack, Brian Patrick Keene and Linda Marie Blaszak all of Forked River. His Five grandchildren Jennifer, Caitlin, Joseph, DeeAnn and Patricia, siblings Robert Keene, Edmund Keene and Maureen Leshko and a special thanks to his in-laws Veronica Keene and Tim Blaszak. A Visitation will be held on Sunday March 29th, 2015 from 3pm until the time of the service at 6:30pm at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9 Forked River, NJ 08731. Cremation will follow and be private. Kelley, Gloria E. - 80, Spotswood  
Gloria E. Kelley AGE: 80 • Spotswood Gloria Elizabeth Kelley, 80, of Spotswood, passed away on Monday, March 23rd, surrounded by her loving family, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Gloria was born and raised in Newark and also lived in Edison before settling in Spotswood 47 years ago. Gloria was a long-time parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church where she also served her parish in various roles during the last four decades. Gloria worked as an Administrative Assistant to the school staff for 40 years as well as 33 years as the Director of the CCD program. One of her greatest career achievements was receiving the Theodore Cardinal McCarrick Distinguished Partner in Catholic Education Award. Gloria loved to travel and she especially enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and attending Broadway shows in NYC. Above all, she cherished spending her time with family and friends. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. Predeceased by her husband, Edward Kelley, her sister, Salomea Ippolito and her brother, George Lewis, Gloria is survived by her daughters, Gloria Gustus and her husband Jeffrey, of Monroe Twp., Karen Corrao and her husband Michael, of Spotswood and Lisa Zaloom and her husband Andrew, of Jamesburg; her sisters, Loretta Gebhard and Loydene Mesimer; her grandchildren, Bryan Gustus and his husband Joseph, Cheryl Gustus, Jessica Gustus, Kelley Corrao, Katherine Corrao, Matthew Zaloom and Megan Zaloom. She is also survived by numerous Granddogs who enjoyed all the attention she gave them. Her daughters would also be honored to include a very special person, Mrs. Gloria Cannon whose love and support has exhibited the unquestionable meaning of true friendship. The family will receive friends on Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 23 Manalapan Road, Spotswood, from 4:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10:30 AM from the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home. Kelly, Karen Joy - Beach Haven  
Karen Joy Kelly Beach Haven Karen Joy Kelly (nee Ford), of Beach Haven, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Jupiter, FL. Joy was born on March 23, 1957 in Bristol, PA. She attended Bishop Conwell High School ('75) then Indiana University of Pennsylvania ('79). Joy married Patrick Kelly in 1983 in Fairless Hills, PA. They resided in Cranberry/Hightstown, NJ where Joy taught at Hamilton West High School in Hamilton, NJ. Joy and Pat moved to Beach Haven, NJ in 1986 to take over the family business, the Coral Seas Motel, which they have owned and have been operating for 28 years. Joy was an active member of the Long Beach Island Garden Club for 21 years, the Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club for over 23 years, and an active volunteer in the Beach Haven community over the years. She was a loving mother adored by her three daughters. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her. Joy is predeceased by her mother, Margaret Ford (nee Elnicki). She is survived by her husband, Patrick Kelly and their three daughters, Jacqueline Kelly Monaghan (Sean) of Beach Haven, Mary Kate Kelly of Beach Haven, and Margaret Ann Kelly of Arlington, VA. Also survived by her father, Thomas Michael Ford of Feasterville, PA and three brothers, Thomas Ford of Holland, PA, Timothy Ford of Yardley, PA, and Kevin Ford of Philadelphia, PA. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Millcreek Road, Manahawkin. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Innocents on Marine Street in Beach Haven. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Joy's life.
