Obituaries from the Past Three Days

Ranghelli, Frank S. - 80, Toms River
Frank S. Ranghelli AGE: 80 • Toms River Frank S. Ranghelli, 80 of Toms River, NJ peacefully passed away on May 25, 2016. Born in 1935, Frank lived a long and happy life. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years Jacqueline "Jackie" Ranghelli and his loving son Jeffrey Ranghelli. Frank and Jackie had a wonderful life together doing many memorable things with their family and friends. Frank always had an entrepreneurial spirit and was involved with several interesting business ventures. In his career, he was the owner of Hanks Drive-In in Ortley Beach and later he was a line supervisor at the BOMARC Missile Base during the Eisenhower Administration. As adoring "partners" in life and business, Frank and his wife Jackie did many things including starting a business called Gaylord Aluminum Company then Carefree Aluminum Siding which Frank headed-up until 1988. Gaylord Aluminum Company went on to be one of the largest suppliers of aluminum siding in Monmouth and Ocean County NJ serving almost 33,000 customers! Frank and Jackie started another business called "Estate Sales by Jackie" which Jackie operated until her death in 2012. Throughout the years he was involved with antique cars and had a side business called Style Auto. Frank was born on July 7, 1935 in Irvington NJ and later moved to Toms River in 1949 which was home to he and his wonderful family for many happy years. He raised a beautiful family and lived the ideal life on a farm with cats, dogs, goats, peacocks, horses, sheep, cattle and "Earthy" the pig. Frank is survived by his loving and selflessly devoted daughter Terri McIntyre of Forked River NJ who cared for him through his illness until he finally succumbed to a an opponent who in the end was just too strong. Terri credits her life and her life's accomplishments to having the love and guidance of her family and friends throughout her life. Terri offered these thoughts on her father's passing: "A Father is a person who lets you experiment life in your own way and lifts you up when you fall. He lets you get angry with him when frustration sets in and loves you more after that. He lets you see things your own way and then gives you his point of view. He is with you always….especially when you need him most! No one is perfect in life and we all have trouble finding our way at times. My Dad gave me my "life compass" early on instilling core values like starting my day early, following ethics, thinking positive, using common sense, being kind and respectful to others and simply going out in life and simply getting it done! I have learned from him that hard work brings rewards and nothing in life is worth much without sacrifice! " Daddy - thank you for my "compass" …. I love you and will carry you, Mommy and Jeff in my heart forever! Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ followed by a committal service at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
