William F. Kenney, Sr. AGE: 75 • Iselin William F. Kenney, Sr. passed away Tuesday, September 16th a JFK Medical Center, Edison. Bill was born in Jersey City and resided in Bayonne before moving to Iselin in 1970. William's career was in the banking industry from 1957 to 2013 working for several banks including Bankers Trust, Horizon, Synergy and Roselle Savings. He proudly served our country in the Army from 1957 to 1960, a lifetime member of the St Cecelia's Knights of Columbus, Iselin Council # 3639 and a Eucharistic Minister for the church. He is predeceased by his parents Robert B. Kenney, Sr. and Agnes (Kilkelly) Kenney and his brother John J. Kenney. Surviving is his wife of 53 years Barbara A (Quirk) Kenney, his children William F. Kenney, Jr. and his wife Karen of Iselin, Catherine E. Kenney of Iselin, Sharon A. De Gregory and her husband James A. De Gregory, 3rd of Cliffwood Beach and Kevin R. Kenney, his brothers Michael E. Kenney of Philadelphia and Robert B. Kenney, Jr. of Red Bank, Aunt Eileen Quirk of Jersey City, 4 grandchildren William E., Timothy J. and Preston J. Kenney and Kaitlyn C. De Gregory also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral services Saturday, September 20th, 9:00 AM at the Gosselin Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Cecelia's RC Church, Iselin. Burial to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
