Funeral Friday Sept. 4 at 9 AM at the Rossi Funeral Home 1937 Westfield Avenue Scotch Plains. Mass 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Scotch Plains. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery E. Orange. Grace was born in Orange,NJ living in E.Orange, and Bloomfield before settling to Scotch Plains in 1952. She was a receptionist for Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for many years. Prior Grace was a bookkeeper for Jarvis Drug Store and Echo Lake Country Club both of Westfield. Grace was a communicant, rosarian, an a member of the prayer shawl and cap knitting club all of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She also enjoyed crafts, knitting and baking. Surviving Grace is her sister Ruth Minnick Crilly; 1 niece Maryann Crilly and husband Tom Schaller; two nephew's Roger Crilly and wife Sherri and Joe Crilly and Wife Nancy Cleveland; also 3 great nephews. Viola Caruso Morano AGE: 85 • Scotch Plains Viola Caruso Morano, 85, entered eternal life surrounded by her family on August 31, 2015 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. The Funeral will be on Friday, September 4, 2015 from the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave. Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10am at St. Bernard/St. Stanislaus Church, Plainfield. The Entombment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. The Visitation will be on Thursday, September 3, 2015 5-8pm at the funeral home. Born in Scotch Plains, the youngest of eight children, Viola lived in Plainfield most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church, Plainfield and was a former president of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Fanwood Senior Citizens Club. Viola was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing. She also liked puzzles and spending time with her family. Viola was predeceased by four brothers Ralph, Pat, Henry, and Albert; and three sisters Elizabeth Logest, Angeline Rasile, and Helen Troiano. Viola is survived by her husband of 65 years, Frank. She is survived by four daughters Marylou Morano Kjelle, Francine Morano, Teresa Hogan (Brian), and Jennifer Mongold (Glenn); and seven grandchildren Krysta and Matthew Kjelle, Kyle and Ryan Hogan, and Zachary, Jessica, and Nicholas Mongold. Noonan, Katherine "Kay" - 88, Somerset  
Katherine "Kay" Noonan AGE: 88 • Somerset Katherine Noonan passed away early Tuesday morning at St. Peter's University Medical Center in New Brunswick. She was 88 years of age. She was born in Newark and lived there as a child. She resided in Irvington for a short time prior to moving to Edison where she spent many years and worked as a Librarian for the Edison Public Library. She also lived in Cranbury and Highland Park before moving to Somerset four years ago. Mrs. Noonan enjoyed foreign traveling, having visited Europe and Central America. She also enjoyed traveling domestically going cross country via rail on more than one occasion. She was an avid reader and would complete the New York Times crossword puzzle weekly. She liked to crochet and keep her garden in order as well. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Rose Pfleger. She was also predeceased by her husband Thomas Leo Noonan in 1995. Mrs. Noonan is survived by her daughter Patricia Kist of East Millstone and her grandchildren; Matthew Kist and his wife Rebecca, Alison Stashek and her husband Steve and one great grandson Cameron Stashek. Visiting will take place on Thursday from 4-8pm on at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. Funeral services will begin at 10am on Friday at the funeral home. Miroslawa Pavelka AGE: 68 • Jackson Township Miroslawa Pavelka, 68, of Jackson Twp., passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at home. Miroslawa was born in Germany and resided in Brooklyn, NY, prior to relocating to Jackson Twp. 41 years ago. Miroslawa was a Phlebotomist for Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, Lakewood Twp. for 27 ½ years. She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp. Miroslawa was predeceased by her mother, Elvira Kaczanowski; and by her husband, Robert Pavelka in 2002. She is survived by her sons, Joseph D. Pavelka and Raymond Pavelka, both of Jackson Twp.; her daughter, Lisa Marie Ventura of Jackson Twp.; her father, Dominick Kaczanowski of Jackson Twp.; her brothers, Robert Kaczanowski of Jackson Twp., and Leonard Kaczanowski and his wife, Rose of Brick; Her grandchildren, Rae Lynn Pavelka, Joseph D. Pavelka, Robert G. Zinsman III, Kaylynn M. Zinsman, Rocco A. Ventura Jr., and Laila M. Ventura, all of Jackson Twp.; and by her great-grandchild, Jaiden Pavelka of Jackson Twp. Peluso, Jeanne M. - 97, Interlaken  
Jeanne M. Peluso AGE: 97 • Interlaken Jeanne M. Peluso, 97, fell asleep into the arms of our Lord on Monday, Aug. 7, 2015, at Manor by the Sea, Ocean Grove. She lived in Interlaken for over 50 years. Mrs. Peluso was born in Milan, Italy and emigrated to Freehold, as a young child. She graduated from Freehold High School and attended Rider University. Jeanne was selected as Miss Molly Pitcher in 1939 in a statewide competition and cut the ribbon with Governor A. Harry Moore that opened the New Jersey Pavilion at the New York World's Fair. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Felix Peluso, who died in 1960, her parents, Ramona and Salvatore Gangemi, two brothers, Edward and Gerald and one sister, Florence. Surviving are her son, Philip Peluso of Interlaken; her daughter, Regina Gentile and son-in-law, Dan Gentile of Interlaken and her beloved granddaughter, Katherine Peluso of Interlaken and N.Y.C. She is also survived by two sisters, Edith Brown of Ocean and Delores Thorngren of Laguna Niguel, CA. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, with a prayer service at 2:30 p.m. in Buckley Funeral Home, 509 Second Ave., Asbury Park. Poprocki, Kenneth L. - 68, Concord, Nc  
Kenneth L. Poprocki AGE: 68 • Concord, NC Kenneth L. Poprocki, 68, peacefully left this world Tuesday morning, Aug. 25, 2015. Kenny was born Oct. 7, 1946 in New York City, the son of Philip (deceased) and Sylvia Poprocki. Moving to New Jersey, he grew up in a loving home, Kenny's love for baseball, especially the Yankees, followed him throughout his life. As a highly intelligent man, Kenny loved to play word games and read. He worked as a nuclear medical tech. Although Kenny never married, he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him as a loving, gentle soul who made a point of calling you by name, generously giving out words of praise and gratitude. His memory will be forever enshrined in the hearts of his mom, Sylvia; his brother, Jerry, and his wife, Ginger; his aunt, Tess Blumenthal; his uncle, George Poprocki; numerous cousins; and all who knew him. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Brighton Gardens of Charlotte and the Brian Center of Mooresville for being a family to Kenny for the time he was with them. Ronald J. Pry AGE: 72 • Marlboro Ronald J. Pry, 72, of Marlboro, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Jacksonville, FL, he has resided in Morganville for the past 47 years. A graduate of Perth Amboy High School in 1961, he received his Captain's License from Houston Marine and was a party boat captain on both the "Cock Robin" and "Norma K" out of Point Pleasant Inlet for many years before retiring. Ron was an avid lover of fishing and hunting. He was predeceased by his mother, Helen Barsczewski-Pry and his father, Anthony Pry, and his sister, Elaine Adams in August 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Eleanor; his daughter and her husband, Cindy and Bob Zerilli and their children, Julie, Coley and Hayley Okun, all of Manalapan; his daughter and her husband, Cathy and Mark Rhodes of Littleton, NC; his brother, Joseph; brother-in-law, Joe and his wife Pat Deak of Colorado; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, Sept. 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, with a funeral service at 8 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. Osvaldo Rivera AGE: 60 • North Brunswick Osvaldo Rivera died Sunday, August 30, 2015, at his home in North Brunswick. He was 60. Born in Caye, Puerto Rico he had lived in Princeton before moving to North Brunswick in 2011. He earned his associates degree from Essex County College and dedicated his life to helping others. He worked in the substance abuse field for over 30 years, most recently as a bilingual substance abuse counselor at the New Brunswick Counseling Center. He was also a consultant at Breath of Life Counseling Services in the New Brunswick area. Osvaldo was a devoted father to his son Lucas Antonio Rivera of Princeton. Also surviving are eleven brothers and sisters and many loving friends. Cremation was private. A gathering of friends and relatives will be held 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.

Abby Elizabeth Sembler AGE: 81 • Brick Abby Elizabeth Sembler, 81, passed away on August 30, 2015 at her home in Greenbriar, Brick. Born in New York City to the late Joseph and Edith Dean, she was a longtime resident of Staten Island, before moving to Brick 26 years ago. Abby worked for Community Agency for Senior Citizens in Staten Island, before devoting her life to her cherished family. She was a communicant of St. Dominic R.C. Church, and a member of the Greenbriar Chorus and Service Club. Mrs. Sembler enjoyed the quality time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Sembler in 2006. Surviving are her loving children, Robert Sembler and wife Colleen, Doreen Sembler, Diane Palomba and husband Thomas, her cherished grandchildren, Robert, Bobby, Joseph, Danny (Anne), Ryan, Julie and Beth, her dear siblings Joseph Dean and wife Nancy, and Carol Reid and husband Thomas, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and community friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at St. Martha's R.C. Church, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant.
