Adolph Mayer Obituary

ADOLPH R. MAYER
AGE: 100 BEACHWOOD
Adolph R. Mayer, age 100 passed away October 23, 2009 at home. Born in Toms River, he lived much of his life in Massachusetts and Connecticut before moving back to Beachwood in 1971. He was employed by Hall Brothers Hatchery, as a supervisor, in Wallingford, CT for over 26 years before taking a position with Arthur Mayer Company in South Toms River with his brother before his retirement.
He was predeceased by his wife Mildred (Andersen) in 2000 along with nine of his siblings. Surviving are his son Neal Mayer of Jackson Heights, NY, his daughter Jay Mayer of Clearwater, FL. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 25th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM at "The Family Owned" Carmona-Bolen Home For Funerals 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. Condolences can be sent to: carmonabolenfh.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Adolph's name to: Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Community Medical Center 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
