Anton M. Heidinger, 89, of Willow Street, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2013. Born September 26, 1923 in Union, NJ, Anton was a former resident of Berkeley Heights, Mt. Pleasant, Gillette and Watchung, NJ before moving to Pennsylvania in 1994. He worked at PSE&G in Summit, NJ for 32 years before retiring in 1981. Anton was a Navy Veteran and served in the Atlantic, European and Pacific areas during WWII. He was a member of VFW Post 6259 in Berkeley Heights, NJ and Doylestown Senior Citizens Group.

Son of the late Charles and Mary (Sellenscik) Heidinger, Anton is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor (Finken) Heidinger of Willow Street, PA; his son, James Anton Heidinger and his wife Kate of New Providence, PA; his daughter, Susan Heidinger Colvin and her husband Brian of Churchville, PA; his brother, Thomas Heidinger of Wakefield, PA; two grandchildren, Michael B. Colvin and Brittany H. Colvin and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his six siblings, Marie Hahn, Josephine Coffey, Alfred Heidinger, Julia Black, Charles Heidinger and Louise Davis.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 11 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rt. 519, Alexandria Township, NJ. Services are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW National Home for Children, 3573 South Waverly Road, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.
