Arthur S. Hozore, 96, of Highland Park died Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New York he was raised in the New Brunswick/Highland Park area. Mr. Hozore was a graduate of the New Brunswick High School and the University of Missouri. From 1944-1946 he served with the Army Air Corps as a navigator. He flew with the 14th Air Corps, "Flying Tigers" in China. He was a recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross and the Bronze Star. Since 1980 he has been the Vice President of Trans-Title Agency a family owned business in New Brunswick. Mr. Hozore was a Past President of the Highland Park Board of Education and a Past President of the Rutgers University Inter-Fraternity Council.

Son of the late Herman and Minnie (Sopornick) Hozore, he was also pre-deceased by his wife of 75 years, Becca Cile Hozore. Surviving are his two daughters and their husbands, Carol and Melvin List of Montclair, NJ, Cecile and Neil Savad of Kiawah Island, SC, Five Grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled to be held today (Tuesday) at 2pm in the Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple 222 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick, NJ. Cremation will be private under the direction of the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
