Artis Frazier, 81 of Perth Amboy died suddenly on Tuesday August 23, 2011 at her home. She was born in Brundidge, Alabama and was residing in Perth Amboy for the last 51 years. She was employed as a presser with Flair Dry Cleaners of Westfield formerly Bond Cleaners of Perth Amboy for 49 years before retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church of God and Christ in Perth Amboy, where she served as head usher, Sunday school teacher and president of the Hospitality. She is predeceased by her 2 sisters, Mary Gene Boykin, who died earlier this year, and Marietta Williams and her brother Cleveland Frazier. She is survived by her 2 sons, Rayvon Williams of Mountain View, CA and Edward J. Wheeler and his wife Flora of Huntsville, AL, her grandson Derek Wheeler, her brother, Arthur Gene Frazier of Alabama, her 2 sisters, Ernestine Beacham of Alabama and Emma Lou Pugh of Connecticut, her Godson Ernest Nelson, Jr. of Perth Amboy and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and long time friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 29, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a Funeral services at 12 noon at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave. Perth Amboy NJ 08861. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
