Mrs. Betty Huda passed away Saturday February 8th, 2014 at her home in Edison. She was 91. Born in Perth Amboy to Frank and Katie Terebush, Betty lived in Fords and South Brunswick before settling in Edison over 50 years ago. She worked for many years at Revlon in Edison, retiring in 1988. A child of The Great Depression, Mrs. Huda worked hard all her life. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and was a wonderful cook.
Mrs. Huda was predeceased by her husband, WW II veteran Frank Huda in 2007; and by 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Dennis Katzara and his wife Teresa of Piscataway; by her brother, George Terebush of Florida; by her nieces Marion Hanas of Edison and Dottie Kawash and her husband Harold of Califon; and by many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
Visitation will take place Tuesday (today) from 3-6 pm at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton St. Somerset, NJ 08873. The funeral service will begin at 10 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in New Brunswick.
