Constance Hurler, 81, of Lakewood, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013. Born in Elizabeth, she moved to Lakewood in 1999. She worked in the Accounting office of Kean University in Union for 12 years until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth where she was a member of their Glee Club and several other church organizations. When she moved to Lakewood, she became a member of the Church of the Visitation in Brick. Constance raised six wonderful children.
Constance was predeceased by her husband, Frederick, in 2006. She is survived by her son and his wife, Mark and Mary Hurler of East Windsor; her son and his wife, Robert and Martha Hurler of Edison; her son and his wife, Paul and Anne of Saddle Brook; her son and his wife, Richard and Lauren Hurler of Freehold Township; her daughter and her husband, Janet and George Schauer of Brick; her daughter and her husband, Susan and Bryan Kutcher of Florida; her brother, Raymond Molnar of Warren, NJ; her sister, Rosemary Carro of Bridgewater; 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12 from 4-8 p.m. at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road in Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Visitation in Brick, followed by burial in the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
