David Schultz died on November 8, 2013, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 85. Born in Manhattan, NY., he resided in South Brunswick for 60 years before moving to Monroe Township 9 years ago.
While residing in South Brunswick, Mr. Schultz was self-employed as a poultry farmer for 20 years, then as a building contractor for 40 years. He was a member of the Jewish Congregation of Clearbrook in Monroe Township and was a past member of former Congregations Sha'are Shalom of South Brunswick, where his family was founding members, and Anshe Emeth of South River.
He adored his family, enjoyed being involved at the synagogue, and loved helping anyone who needed a hand. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Sol Schultz, and in 2009 by his daughter, Karen Kramer. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Marilyn Lerman Schultz; his daughter, Shelley Bilsky and her husband, Alan, of Dresher, PA; his son-in-law, Elliot Kramer of Metuchen; 4 grandchildren: Evan and Allison Kramer and Matthew and Lauren Bilsky, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 10 at 8:45 AM at MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Cranbury Road at Evergreen Boulevard, East Brunswick, followed by interment in Washington Cemetery in South Brunswick. For directions, please visit www.msmc.us
