Dorothy "Dottie" L. Baxter

Dorothy "Dottie" L. Baxter, passed away Wednesday, Jan 4, 2012, at Barbara E. Cheung Hospice in Edison. She was 82. Born in Mt. Carmel, PA, she lived in Trenton before moving to Milltown 46 years ago. She worked for Baxter Health Care in Edison, for many years, before retiring in 1994. She practiced transcendental meditation for over 50 years. During the 1980's, Dottie experienced a "flash of light" which transformed her way of life, to make a positive difference in people's lives. She attended multiple Landmark Forum Seminars over the years, which inspired her to author the booklet, "Natural Enthusiasm Network". Dottie was an avid bowler. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church. She participated in the Milltown 4th of July Parade, whether driving her yellow Mustang or walking down the street with her choo choo train. She loved Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Michael Jackson and Michael Jordon.

She's predeceased by her son David (d. 2007). Surviving are her daughters Louise Baxter of North Brunswick, Susan Tocci of Skillman and Diane Baxter-Szabo of Milltown; her brother Edward Zylowski of NY; 7 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; and her best friend Imthiaz Azeez.

Friends and relatives may call on Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main Street-at Riva Avenue, Milltown.
