Edward R. Wiedman, 90, of Wall, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in New York City and lived in North Bergen for many years before moving to Wall Twp. three years ago. Edward was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the VFW Post #2648, North Bergen. He had retired from roofing in 1974 and then held various other positions; his most recent job was working for Hudson City Savings Bank in North Bergen. He was also a member of the United Union of Roofers, Local #8, New York, NY.

Edward was predeceased by his parents, Julius and Julia Wiedman; and his two sisters, Amelia Bertholf of Marlboro, and Elsie Pfromm of Westland, MI. He is survived by four nieces, Lauren Hardeman of MD, Marilyn Riehl of NJ, Phyllis Majors and Valerie Schultheis, both of MI; two nephews, Frederick Pfromm of MI and Richard Pfromm of TX, and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at Old Brick Church Cemetery, Marlboro.
