Eleanor Siegel Pavlovsky 92 of Flemington, entered into eternal rest, Friday November 23, 2012 at her home. She was born in Perth Amboy and was formerly of Metuchen for 58 years before moving to Flemington in 2008. Eleanor was a self employed piano teacher after having graduated from Julliard in 1943. She was a founding member of Temple Neve Shalom in Metuchen and was a member of the sisterhood at the temple. Eleanor was a volunteer with meals on wheels and a friend of the library in Metuchen. She worked with Jewish Family Services in Middlesex County, and lectured and toured for Brandis University.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Dr. Francis Pavlovsky in 2010; her son Arnold M. Pavlovsky in September 2012, and her parents Dr. Isadore and Jeanette Siegel. She is survived by her daughter Jeannie Castells and her husband Manuel of Lambertville; her grandchildren Carmen and Catalina and great granddaughter Rowan.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Memorial Park in Woodbridge. A Shiva period will be held on Sunday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday and Tuesday November 26 and 27 at Eleanor's home.
