Filomena (Ciallella) Rusciano died Monday, September 9, 2013, at her home in the Dayton section of South Brunswick. She was 90. Born in Rocky Hill, she had lived in North Brunswick before moving to South Brunswick 30 years ago.
She had worked in the Quality Control Department at E.R. Squibb & Son in New Brunswick for 25 years before retiring in 1984. She also worked as Assistant Manager at the Brunswick Drive-In in North Brunswick. Mrs. Rusciano was a communicant of St. Cecelia's RC Church in Monmouth Junction and was a member of the church's Prime Time Seniors and the New Brunswick Republican Committee.
Her husband Joseph E. Rusciano died in 1960. Surviving are her five daughters - Kathy Mupo and Maryann Rubenstein and her husband Howard, all of North Brunswick; Joanne Vitanza and Donna Marie Rusciano both of Dayton and Patty Christian and her husband John of Monmouth Junction; three sisters - Mary Costantini of Italy, Lily Pedersen and her husband Arnie of Vermont and Valnye Seabridge of Lawrenceville; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 9:00 AM Thursday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Cecelia R.C. Church in Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
