HELEN BARNOSKY
AGE: 84 MANVILLE
Helen Barnosky, 84, entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Manville, daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Marcinkowska) Wisniewski, she resided in Manville until 1972, when she moved to Colorado and then settled back in Manville in 2005. Helen was an administrative assistant at Johns Manville in Colorado. She was a faithful communicant at St. Mary's in Littleton, CO where she was also a member of their choir and attended Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. She was a member of Manville Fire Company #3 Ladies Auxiliary. Helen liked to cook and sew and had a green thumb. She also held a special place in her heart for children.
Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Stephen Barnosky, who died on March 31, 2005, and her brothers: William, Frank, Jr., Chester, Walter and Joseph Wisniewski; and her sisters: Irene Klementovich, Jean Pavol and Frances Snyder. Helen leaves behind her dear sister, Mary Ann Wisniewski and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 beginning 8:30 a.m. at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835, followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Helen will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The obituary that was in Sunday's edition incorrectly states viewing time on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 when it should have read just 7-9.
