James "Jimmy the Tailor" Brunetti

James "Jimmy the Tailor" Brunetti, 92, of Jersey City passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home, Menlo Park - Edison. Born in Civita, Italy, James had lived most of his life in Jersey City. He owned and operated a Tailor Shop on South Street, Jersey City for 50 years. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and bocce ball player. His favorite team was the New York Yankees.
He is predeceased by his wife, Josephine (1983); a late brother, Peter; and sister, Anna Palombi. He is survived by his two daughters, Catherine Baird and Rosemary Lavallo and son-in-law William; five grandchildren, Allison, Mark and Keith Baird, and William, Jr. and Jaime Lyn Lavallo; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012, at 10 AM, from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
