Julius Emery Sadler, Jr.

Julius Emery Sadler Jr. was born December 27, 1937 in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Julius Emery Sadler, Sr. and Juanita Elizabeth Moody Sadler. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 14th, 2013 after a lengthy illness at the Veteran's Home in Menlo Park, NJ. Julius, also known as Emery, was educated in the New Brunswick school system and graduated with the class of 1956. He was married to Brenda Hardy Sadler, and they were blessed with two sons: Todd Emery Sadler of Pottstown, PA and Charles Scott Sadler of Fords, NJ. He was a Veteran of the US Army, a retired police officer
of the Highland Park Police Department, a loving husband, a dedicated father, a doting grandfather and a good friend. Emery was a faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, and he was an active member of the Senior Usher Board and the Soup Kitchen Committee.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother John Henry Sadler. Not only is he survived by his wife of 50 years and his sons, but he is also survived by his three grandchildren: Michael Aaron Sadler, Bryan Vincent Sadler, and Tameka Nicole Sadler. Additionally, he is survived by his daughter in law Maria Sadler, his sister Mary C. Sadler of New Brunswick, NJ., his father in law Monroe Hardy of Ocala, FL., and his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 126 Lee Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. The viewing will be held from 9-11 am at the church, followed by the funeral service. Interment will take place at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick NJ.
