Leonard M Sarr, 84 of Wall passed away Thursday November 7 at home with his family by his side. Leonard was born and raised in Nantickoe, PA. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Upon his release from the military he graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology and received his teaching degree from University of Buffalo; a Master's in Education from University of Scranton and a Master's in Industrial Arts from NJIT. Leonard taught printing and photography at Wall High School for 15 years. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans. Leonard enjoyed working around the house especially his garden.

Leonard was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Sophie Sarr; a daughter Pamela Sarr O'Connor; 2 brothers Joseph and John Sarr; 2 sisters Delores Maga and Irene Finn. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Martha (nee Mullen) Sarr of Wall. He is also survived by two daughters and their spouses, Karen and Tim Kelling of Colorado Springs, CO and Nannette and Marty Forkan of Manahawkin, NJ; 4 grandchildren Slade Kelling, Rebecca O'Connor, Kyle O'Connor and Theresa O'Connor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 am Friday, December 27 at St. Denis Church, Manasquan. Entombment of cremains will follow 11:30 am at Brig. Gen William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
