Marjorie (Barlow) Post died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater. She was 92. Born in Powhatan, West Virginia, she had lived in Edison before moving to North Brunswick over 25 years ago. She was the owner of Mud Hut Ceramics in Edison for 20 years. Prior to that she had worked at Westinghouse Electric in Edison. After her retirement, she had worked as a receptionist at the South Brunswick Senior Center until 2010. Marge was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick. She was a member of the Highland Park Chapter No. 190, Order of Eastern Star of New Jersey (which later became Raritan Chapter #58) where she served as the Worthy Matron and held many other offices. She also belonged to Ruth Chapter #12 and the Order of Amaranth #40. Marge was very active in all of these organizations and in 2011 she received her 50 year pin which she wore proudly. She was chosen to serve as a Grand Representative of Mississippi, then she was honored to serve as a Grand Representative of Alberta, Canada. Later she was selected to serve as Grand Martha, and again as the Grand Representative to the jurisdiction of West Virginia where she had lived for many years. She was the type of lady that if you wanted something done all you needed to do was ask and it was accomplished.

Predeceased by her husband, Randolph S. Post in 1992, Marge is survived by her son Robert Post and his wife Barbara of North Brunswick; her daughter Carolyn Tola and her husband Ronald of Hamilton Square; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 9:00 AM Saturday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 10:00 AM Service at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the NJ Eastern Star Home, 111 Finderne Avenue, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
