Homemaker and Communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Mary Ann (Luca) Beyerman, 83, of Piscataway, New Jersey, died peacefully on July 26, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. Mary Ann was born April 29, 1930 in Cranford, New Jersey, where she grew up and attended St. Michael's parochial school.
She was a 1947 graduate of Mount Saint Mary's Academy in North Plainfield, New Jersey. Mary Ann was a lifelong homemaker who lovingly took care of her family and home. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling in her later years with her husband, Norman.
A long-time communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway, she enjoyed being a member of the Rosary Altar Society, performing many duties for the church she loved so well. She was a devout patron of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a member of the Blue Army in Washington, New Jersey. She is survived by her son, Wayne Beyerman and his wife, Victoria, of Piscataway, her daughter Sherry Forgash of Glenwood Landing, Long Island, New York, a grandson Andrew Norman Forgash of Portland, Oregon, her brother, Louis Luca II of Haworth, New Jersey and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Andrew Beyerman in 2004, her parents Louis and Mary (Roca) Luca of Cranford, New Jersey, and her brothers, Ignatius (Ned) Luca and Carmen Luca.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 29th, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday; July 30th at 10 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway. Internment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
