Michael A. Chiovaro, formerly of Highland Park and Edison, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, in Petaluma, CA. He was 91. Born in Monessen, PA, he lived in Highland Park and Edison before moving to Santa Rosa, CA five years ago. He had worked for Mid East Aluminum for over 20 years before retiring in 1984. Previously he had worked for Bond Clothing in New Brunswick. He served in the US Army during WWII, where he was a medic. Mickey was a volunteer for over 40 years, with the Highland Park First Aid Squad. He was a member of the Edison Senior Citizens, the St. Paul the Apostle Senior Citizens, and St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Senior Citizens.

He's predeceased by his wife, Tina (Raspa) Chiovaro (d. 1994) and his daughter, Annette Reilly (d. 1970). Surviving is his grandson, Daniel Reilly, II of Santa Rosa, CA; his great grandchildren, Filomina & Marcello; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 21st, 10:00 am, at St. Paul the Apostle (Transfiguration of the Lord) RC Church, Highland Park. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.
