Mildred L. Bunn Pasko, 91, entered God's care on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Foot Hill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough. She was born January 24, 1921 in Plainfield to Charles and Edith Bunn. She was raised in Plainfield and graduated from Plainfield High School. Mildred had resided in Dunellen for 66 years before moving to Hillsborough in 2006. She was a loving and caring homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who gave love and care to many family members. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Plainfield since 1933 and had served in the children's nursery for many years. She had also been an active member of the former New Market-Dunellen Womans Club.
She was the wife of Milan A. Pasko who died in 1997; the mother of Mark Pasko, an infant, and Jeffrey F. Pasko who died in 2008; and the sister-in-law of Dorothy Pasko who died in 2011. Her family includes 2 sons, David M. Pasko and his wife Mary Lou of Hampton, VA and Bradley J. Pasko and his wife Rosemary of Ewing; a daughter-in-law, Linda Pasko of North Carolina and a sister-in-law, Loretta Pasko of Dunellen; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at The Mundy Funeral Home, 142 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Friends may visit the family on Friday 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations made to the United Presbyterian Church, 525 East Front St., Plainfield, NJ 07060 would be appreciated.
